Thank you, I made a mistake with the purchase, it’s not what I wanted, the microchip is small, but I need to buy a big one, more expensive but better. I haven’t checked it for functionality yet, if anything goes wrong, I’ll update the review.

Fyi this board can work with a raspberry pico. There’s a pio implementation of i2s in “pico extras”. Just set the pins and hook up a small 4 or 8 ohm speaker (laptop ones work really nicely!)

I use these max98357 class-d i2s amplifiers frequently for diy smart home projects. The included header pins and screw terminals make them very easy to integrate, whether you are prototyping on a breadboard or soldering a finished sensor.

This package (small chip/bga) performs at about half of the output of the large chip version. I would not recommend using these if max volume is your desire. You’ll never get anywhere near 3w.
