Works fine, with an external dipole drone 2.4 antenna rssi is -60db vs -80 on another esp board with just a spiral antenna soldered on; it’s great. Worked with arduino from the box. You need external ipex antenna, there is no in the box. The pins are soldered, you have to unsolder them if not needed. The module itself is quite big.
The only issue i see is micro-usb connector instead of usb-c.
